Dr. Rabon has been my favorite preceptor so far. He created a safe space for getting things wrong while also involving you in clinical decision making. He taught not just about purely medical knowledge, but also the human side of medicine and his personal philosophies for how to communicate with patients and navigate the healthcare system. He also formally taught us for a few hours after rounds about EKGs and antibiotics. I feel really lucky to have been placed with him. He will challenge you to know about your patients conditions and the next steps so come prepared. Overall amazing doctor and teacher.
